Over It Release

Sleeping Sunset was founded on October 7, 2008 when brothers, Manny and David, decided to post their first cover video on YouTube. From that moment, they became addicted to covering music from all of their favorite artists. As they grew musically over the years, they began to write their own music for this new project that they named Sleeping Sunset. This duo of siblings went on to write as many songs as their minds allowed them to; building what they later titled the This Letter EP in 2009. This Letter is a Self-Produced Album recorded in their best friend's bedroom and it started to take form as a Pop project. With catchy beats and melodies, they began to play local shows in their high school such as other local venues as a Pop Electro-Acoustic act.

 

 

Their music evolved in 2010 as they grew to become a Heavy Pop Rock project. With influences like A Day To Remember, Four Year Strong, All Time Low, and Relient K, they awed their audiences with their fusion of what was heavy instrumentation and pop-like vocals. They started to play many local shows in all of the local venues and in many churches around Florida. On December 10, 2011, they headlined their first concert as their Album Release Party for their studio EP titled Extra! Extra! Sing All About It! It was a great success as all their friends, fans, and family showed up to show them incredible support. They released Extra! Extra! Sing All About It! on iTunes, Amazon MP3, Spotify, and many other digital distribution sites all over the internet as well as physical copies to be sold at shows. From that moment, they realized how much they wanted to do this for the rest of their lives and began to write many new songs which are currently unreleased.

 

 

They are currently working on brand new music to continue their trend of catchy pop vocals and more of a Top 40's radio-feel to their songs. On February 23, 2013, they performed their brand new Single titled Over It at an open mic show in Pembroke Pines held by the coffee shop, Second Cup, and the crowd response was very positive. They have officially produced a studio version of Over It soon to be released on May 12, 2015 with a music video. This song and video will be distributed all over Vevo, YouTube, Spotify, iTunes, AmazonMP3, and may other platforms.
